Norma Jean ‘Susie’ Knotts Jones

Norma Jean “Susie” Knotts Jones, 74, a resident of the Horseshoe Run Road Community, Parsons, departed this life Monday Nov. 10, 2025, at WVU Medicine Garrett Regional Medical Center at Oakland, Maryland. She had been in declining health.

She was born Wednesday, March 7, 1951, at Parsons, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Delton and Louise Shambaugh Knotts.

On June 20, 1969, at Red House, Maryland, she was married to Keith Allen Jones, who survives.

Also surviving are one son, David Jones and wife, Melissa, of Xenia, Ohio; one daughter, Cindy Streets and husband, Neal, of Hambleton; her twin brother, Norman “Sonny” Knotts and wife, Gabby, of Horseshoe Run Rd; three sisters, Patty Wilfong of Hambleton, Arlene Ramsey of Parsons and Judy Ternent and husband, Harry, of Lonaconing, Maryland; 11 grandchildren, Wyatt and Kaylynne Streets, Nakeiah Streets and companion, Mason Lantz, Logan Jones and wife, Kayla, Caleb Jones and wife, Christy, Gavin Jones, Marcos Williams, Tyler Jones, Hanna Jones, Cory Jones, Khallen Jones and Kinsey Jones; two God-granddaughters, Aria Strickland and companion, Andrew Morelli, and Cadence Lowder and husband, Coker; one bonus granddaughter, Tiffanie Williams; nine great-grandchildren, Jaxson, Grayson, Drew, Lydia, Brixton, Aurora, Rylee, Leo and Beau; two bonus great granddaughters, Dallas and Danielle; several nieces and nephews; and her beloved family, dog Parker.

Preceding her in death are four brothers, Mervin Knotts, Bill Knotts, Delton Knotts Jr. and Clarence Knotts; and four sisters, Pauline Lowther, Adelene Snyder, Malora Corbin and Karen Knotts.

She was a graduate of Parsons High School with the Class of 1969. She worked on the line at the former Parsons Footwear. She was a Christian by faith. She loved spending time with her family and being Mamaw and Grandma.

The family will receive friends at the Lohr & Barb Funeral Home of Parsons, West Virginia, on Thursday from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Final rites will be conducted from the funeral home on Friday, Nov. 14, 2025, at 11 a.m.

Pastor Carolyn Shreve and The Rev. James Snyder will officiate and interment will follow at the Bonnifield Cemetery at St. George, West Virginia.
