Merry Christmas from Barbour County

Hello and Merry Christmas from Barbour County!

Wreathes Across America will take place at the Fraternal Cemetery on today at noon. This is a national program to honor veterans at Christmas time by placing a wreath on their grave.

Plan to join in on this holiday tradition.

A Christmas cantata, “The Colors of Christmas,” will be presented at the Asbury United Methodist Church at 7 p.m. on Dec. 15.

Members of several local church choirs have joined together for this special Christmas service. At the conclusion, a candlelight service will be held with refreshments to follow in the fellowship hall. All are welcome join in celebration of the Christmas season.

Schools in Barbour County will dismiss two hours early on Dec. 20 for the Christmas break. School will resume on Jan. 6.

Beginning the first Friday in January, Kristen McGill will be having Zumba classes in Belington. Classes will be held at Skatezone every Friday at 5 p.m. and the cost will be only $5 per class. Kick the new year off right and join in the fun!
