We cannot give in to despair despite crisis
To the residents of Randolph County, West Virginia and the United Sates of America:
After much thought I have decided to add my two cents to this real and serious pandemic that we all are facing. (Yes, the young people also.)
Please do not despair; do not panic; listen to what the health care professionals and government officials are advising us to do. Use good common sense. We need to help protect each other and keep ourselves and everyone safe.
I would like to address small businesses and individuals to not be fearful and do not panic. We live in the greatest country of mankind’s time.
After having spent 34 years in banking and having managed a loan department, I can say that the banks and finance companies are not working against you. They will work with you.
Our state and federal government will help everyone get through this difficult time. Our economy is the lifeblood of our country. There will be avenues to help us exist.
Remember, I will repeat that “we are all in this together.” Quoting an old song, “He ain’t heavy; he’s my brother.” Look after each other; help each other; stay local and we will get through this “together”.
God bless America and the world.
