Possible uses for left-over funding
I wish the government would spend the money that is left-over after everyone received their stimulus check on something that would benefit the low-income people in our country.
I have said it before and maybe if I say it enough someone will listen — the left-over money could put solar power systems on over 100,000 low income homes, thus saving them $200 to $500 dollars a month for the next decade at least, probably longer.
The only reason I can see that there is not an aggressive program to help install solar power is that it would hurt the big business of electricity production. We could greatly reduce our carbon footprint, so if the politicians truly want to “go green” there is no better place to start.
