Haymond reunion held in September

September 22, 2012
The Inter-Mountain

The annual Haymond reunion took place Sept. 2 in Arlington. Following a plentiful spread on the buffet line, attendees were entertained by "Sheltered," a local gossip group with family ties.

When the group took a break, the business part of the day was conducted. The oldest direct descendant was 94-year-old Hazel Davidson. Cynthia Cutright won the gift for youngest direct descendant, with 29 months to her credit. Dave and Helen Allman retained claim to the longest married couple, with 60 years together. The newest newlyweds with the least time were Brock and Nicole Cutright, with three and a half months. Craig and Andrea Smith had the largest family in attendance with a total of six.

Jenny and Wayne Carr traveled the farthest, coming from Arizona. The direct descendants older than 70 were Davidson; Iris Mick, 86; Katy McKisic, 83; Reva Thorton, 84; Gerald Haymond, 79; Reba Riffle and Helen Allman, both 78; and Levena Schramec, 75.

The officers remained the same for the coming year. Next year's reunion will be the Sunday before Labor Day as always.
