Scottie and Kristi Perrine honored by local church

December 3, 2012
The Inter-Mountain

The Tennerton United Methodist Church honorees of the month for November are Scottie and Kristi Perrine. They are being recognized as faithful attendees and honored for their commitment to the Lord.

Scottie Perrine grew up in the churches of Adrian and Tallmansville communities and worked as a grounds keeper as a youth.

Kristi Perrine grew up in the Tennerton United Methodist Church and participated in vacation bible school and other youth activities. As a young adult, she has been a member of the praise choir and the nominations committee. She's been a Sunday school and vacation bible school nursery teacher.

Scottie, Kristi and family presently live in Braxton County but they continue to participate in Tennerton United Methodist Church worship services and the various youth activities. They enjoy helping with the annual apple butter making day and the fall festival. On Wednesday nights, they participate in an adult and youth bible studies at the Gassaway Baptist Church.
