Geraldine Marie Black, 58, of Mill Creek, died Thursday, Dec. 6, 2012, at her home.
She was born Aug. 2, 1954, at Lost Creek, a daughter of the late Robert Lee Riffle and Geraldine Yuanita Groves.
On Jan. 8, 2000, she married Ralph Black, who survives.
Also, surviving are two daughters, Carol Bailey of Weston and Kimberly Bailey of Clarksburg; one son, Terry Bailey of Mill Creek; three stepdaughters, Sara and Aryn Black both of Elkins and Andrea Moore; one stepson, Robert Black of Nestorville; five stepgrandchildren; three sisters, Linda Casto-Kearns of Hepzibah, Wanda Demastes of Buckhannon and Kim Wilford of Sweetwater, Tenn.; and five brothers, Joseph and Roger Groves both of Sweetwater, Tenn., Donald and William Groves both of Buckhannon and Martin Riffle of Buckhannon.
Mrs. Black was a homemaker.
Friends will be received today from 4 to 8 p.m. at Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. Doyle Tenney officiating. Burial will follow in Sand Run Baptist Cemetery at Excelsior.
