John Wilfong scored 17 points to pace surging Bridgeport past Elkins 50-47 Saturday evening in Big 10 Conference action at Richard P. Simmons Memorial Gymnasium.
Jordan Haywood added 13 points and Ryan Sprouse 12 for the Indians, who have won six straight games to improve to 8-4.
The Tigers, meanwhile, have lost two straight contests to fall to 8-4 on the season.

Logan Phillips and Colby Gainer each had 11 points for Elkins, while Brandon?Roth chipped in with 10.
Bridgeport led 27-26 at the intermission before outscoring the Tigers 12-7 in the third.
Elkins held a 14-11 scoring edge in the final canto.
The Tigers will return to action at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at home against North Marion for another conference contest.
The Indians will visit Lewis County on the same evening for a league tilt.

EMS JV team wins
MANNINGTON?- The Elkins Middle School junior varsity team defeated Mannington 38-18 on Friday night.
Kiley Calain had 10 points and Kaci Zopp nine points, six rebounds and two assists for the Hornets.
Cassey Steen and Riane Beaty each had four points for the Gators.
EMS lost the varsity contest, 65-32.
Christine Zurbuch had 10 points and Haley Collett nine points, 10 rebounds, three assists and three steals in a losing effort.
Presley Tuttle fired in 27 points for the winners.
EMS will travel to Green Bank at 6 p.m. Wednesday.
