MILL?CREEK - Brett Griffith had a team-high 20 points to lead TygartsValley past Moorefield 67-60 Monday in Potomac Valley Conference action.
Brandon Pritt followed with 18 points and seven rebounds, while Adam Cassell, Ben Sycafoose and Derrick Villarico had nine points each.
Villarico had seven rebounds, while Cassell had six rebounds for the Bulldogs (14-4, 5-2 PVC), who led 31-27 at halftime and 42-40 after three quarters of play.

Adam Snyder had 21 points, while Jared Kite followed with 13 points for the Yellow Jackets.
Moorefield travels to Pocahontas County at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday for a PVC matchup.
Tygarts Valley entertains Pendleton County at 7:30 p.m. tonight for another conference matchup.
Grafton 61, Buckhannon-Upshur 24
BUCKHANNON Grafton delivered an early knockout punch Monday night, rolling to a 61-24 road victory at Buckhannon-Upshur in Big 10 Conference girls basketball action. The Lady Bearcats sprinted to an early 19-0 lead after one quarter, and a 34-2 lead at the half. Buckhannon-Upshur did not score a field goal in the half.
"It was a case of them hitting everything they were throwing up there, and nothing was falling for us," Buckhannon-Upshur head coach Tristan Gray said. "It was a tough night all around for us."
Grafton extended their lead to 46-8 after three quarters, and the two teams battled with mostly reserves in the final stages of the fourth quarter. The Lady Bucs were also hampered by a 7-of-19 night from the foul line.
Kari Fawcett led a balanced Lady Bearcat attack with 14 points, including four three pointers. Hannah Griffith and Tessa Graham each scored 10 points as ten different Grafton players hit the scoring column. Grafton improves to 7-11 with the win.
Kelsey Hinzman led Buckhannon-Upshur with eight points, followed by Jess Feronti with six and Courtney Reed with five. The Lady Bucs fall to 4-16 with the loss. They return to action Wednesday night, hosting the top ranked Bridgeport Indians.
Tucker County 57, Trinity 33
HAMBLETON?-?Stephanie Betler had 23 points to lead Tucker County past Trinity 57-33 Monday in non-conference action.
Amber Evans followed with 14 points,while Bekah Simmons added seven points for the Lady Mountain ?Lions (16-4), who led 24-20 at halftime and 38-28 after three quarters of play.
Savannah Ambrose had 13 rebounds and five blocks for TCHS.
Meagan Triplett had nine points for the Warriors.
Tucker County travels to Southern (Md.) at 7:30 p.m. Thursday for a non-conference matchup.
Tygarts Valley 62, Union 33
MT. STORM?- Shanda Howell finished with 27 points to lead Tygarts Valley past Union 62-33 Monday in PVC?action.
Paige Pritt and Kelsey Arbogast had seven points each for the Lady Bulldogs (14-6).
Montana Kitzmiller had 13 points for the Lady Tigers.
Union travels to Pendleton County at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Tygarts Valley host rival Pocahontas County 7:30 p.m. Wednesday for a PVC matchup.
Hampshire 47, Elkins 40
ROMNEY?- Allyson Fout had nine points to lead Hampshire past Elkins 47-40 Monday in non-conference action.
Ashley Simmons had 11 points, eight rebounds and four steals, while Logan Dudley added nine points and eight rebounds for the Lady Tigers (5-13).
Elkins travels to Robert C. Byrd at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Middle School Boys
MILL?CREEK - Jace Stanley had 15 points to lead Tygarts Valley past Philippi Monday in opening round action of the Middle School boys tournament.
Zac McCauley followed with 14 points, while Tristan Dunmire added 11 points for the Bulldogs (12-4).
Rece Wamsley chipped in with eight points for Tygarts Valley.
Austin Upton had nine points.
The Bulldogs will play the winner between Buckhannon-Upshur and Kasson 6 p.m. Thursday in Mill Creek.
