A tractor-trailer struck two vehicles on U.S. 219 near the post office in Dailey at about 9 a.m. Wednesday.

West Virginia State Police Trooper A.N. Alton of the Elkins detachment said the driver of tractor-trailer, Bernardo Tena, was cited for failure to maintain control. The citation was awarded after Tena struck the rear of a Chevy Impala, driven by James Johnson, who was travelling north along U.S. 219.

After hitting the rear of the Impala, Tena also struck a Jeep Cherokee travelling south along the highway. That vehicle was driven by Audrey Taylor.

Alton said there were no injuries to any driver involved in the incident.
