Nursing candidates for graduation earning an associate degree in science from Davis & Elkins College celebrated a Professional Nurses' Pinning Ceremony Friday. Friends and families gathered at the Harper-McNeeley Auditorium to applaud the 23 candidates
Guest speaker for the event, Capt. Carrie Ann Davidson, a native of Tucker County and a 2005 nursing graduate of D&E, gave advice to the graduates.
"If you remember anything from tonight, remember to know your job," Davidson said. "And never stop learning. Nursing is a profession - it's our profession."
