12 arrested in Lewis drug sweep

WESTON - Lewis County Sheriff's deputies arrested 12 people on drug-related charges Friday in a sweep across the county that Sheriff Adam Gissy said was intended to send a message.

All 12 individuals were arrested on felony drug charges related to delivery or conspiracy to deliver, he said.

"We like to do these drug sweeps to send a message to the community that we have zero tolerance for narcotics in Lewis County," Gissy said. "We hope it will curtail any illegal activity in the future."

An arrest warrant has been issued for an additional individual who deputies plan to arrest in Randolph County, Gissy said Friday evening.

The following individuals were arrested during the sweep, according to Gissy:

Richard Gary Smith, of Jane Lew, was charged with felony conspiracy and delivery of a controlled substance, marijuana and acid, a felony.

Daniel Marcus Pascasio, of Weston, was charged with delivery of a controlled substance, marijuana, a felony.

Tamara Lynn Cain, 25, of Weston, was charged with delivery of a schedule III narcotic, hydrocodone, a felony. Cain is being held in the Central Regional Jail on a $50,000 bond.

Sarah Elizabeth Jones, 24, of Weston, was charged with two counts delivery of a schedule I controlled substance, heroin, a felony. Jones is being held in the Central Regional Jail on a $100,000 bond.

Travis William Caddell, 20, of Orlando, is charged with two counts possession of schedule III controlled substances, hydrocodone and clonazepam, a felony. Caddell is being held in the Central Regional Jail on a $100,000 bond.

Anthony Posey, of Jane Lew, was charged with delivery of a schedule II narcotic, oxycodone, a felony.

Gayle Lea Lowther, 37, of Weston, is charged with two counts of possession of a schedule III controlled substance, hydrocodone, a felony.

Lowther is being held in the Central Regional Jail on a $50,000 bond.

Dawn Marie Oldaker, 36, of Weston, was charged with felony conspiracy. Oldaker is being held in the Central Regional Jail on a $50,000 bond.

Roger Lee Clem II, 26, of Weston, was charged with delivery of a controlled substance, oxycodone, a felony, and delivery of a schedule II narcotic, a felony. Clem is being held in the Central Regional Jail on a $100,000 bond.

Jamie Lewis Butcher Jr., 32, of Weston, was charged with two counts of delivery of a controlled substance, synthetic marijuana, a felony. Butcher is being held in the Central Regional Jail on a $100,000 bond.

Samuel Joseph Oldaker, of Weston, was charged with two counts of delivery of a schedule II narcotic, oxycodone.

Eric Charles Henry, of Weston, was charged with delivery of a schedule III narcotic, hydrocodone.

Gissy said deputies began serving warrants in the early morning hours Friday, and have been spent "well over six months" investigating some of the individuals arrested.
