Harman girls win in WVHIT opener

HARMAN — The Harman girls basketball team began WVHIT play with a 50-23 win over Paw Paw on Saturday.

Jamen Dudley had 13 points, five rebounds and five assists for the Lady Panthers, while Sheridan Bonner had her seventh double-double of the season with 11 points and 15 rebounds to go along with three assists and six blocked shots, Alison Warner had six points and four caroms, Natalie Teter six points and four boards, Megan Raines five points, three rebounds and three blocked shots, Alexis Nelson five points and five boards and Emily Marple four points and five boards.

Megan Brown had eight points for Paw Paw.

“We played a great all- around game,” Harman coach Todd Raines said. “We moved the ball to a lot of different players and controlled the boards. Our bench also scored 17 points and had 12 rebounds.”

The Lady Panthers (7-4) travel to South Harrison at 5:45 p.m. today.
