ELKINS — The Randolph County Black Bears recently finished up a successful 12U summer/fall travel baseball season.

The squad played its last tournament this past weekend in Lewis County, placing second.

“Overall, we played about 20 games and played in tournaments in Mineral Wells, Glenville and in Weston,” manager Billy Taylor said. “Coaching baseball is fun when you have a great group of kids willing to learn and a coaching staff dedicated to help make the kids better.”

The Black Bears added thanks to their sponsors and the team is looking forward to next season.
