WVU’s next two contests get postponed
MORGANTOWN — The Big 12 Conference announced Tuesday that the West Virginia University men’s basketball home games with TCU (Jan. 16) and Oklahoma State (Jan. 19) have been postponed in accordance with the Conference’s game interruption guidelines.
The postponement is in response to West Virginia being unable to meet the required COVID-19 thresholds, as established by the Big 12 Conference. WVU will work with the Big 12 Conference and the two schools to reschedule the games.
Tuesday night’s game at No. 2 Baylor was also postponed.
Meanwhile, the West Virginia University women’s basketball team has announced that next week’s game against Oklahoma State, previously scheduled on Jan. 23, will now be played this Saturday.
The game against the Cowgirls will tip-off at 2 p.m. at the Coliseum and will be broadcast on Big 12 Now on ESPN+.
