MILL CREEK — Sarah Defibaugh poured in 20 points as Tygarts Valley claimed a 56-41 win over Braxton County on Saturday.

Summer Lewis-Smith chipped in 16 points for the Lady Bulldogs, who led 30-21 at halftime and 44-27 after three quarters.

Addie Riddle also had seven points, Alysa Swecker six and Emily Smith five in the win.

Bailey Pritt led the Lady Eagles with 10.

TV is now 2-2 on the season and will travel to River View on Friday.

PETERSBURG — Moorefield captured the Petersburg Tip-Off Tournament with a 37-34 win over the host Lady Vikings on Saturday night.

Sadie Crites had 11 points and Korbin Keplinger seven to lead the Lady Yellow Jackets.

Quenlynn Cole led Petersburg with 10. Miley Tingler chipped in seven.

The Lady Vikings (3-3) travel to Hampshire this evening.

Pendleton County 65

SISTERVILLE — Brady Strode and Cole LeMasters combined for 37 points to lead Tyler Consolidated past Pendleton County, 72-65, on Saturday afternoon.

Strode netted 19 and LeMasters followed with 18.

Brody Giovinazzo also reached double figures for the Silver Knights with 16.

Josiah Kimble fired in 30 and Chase Owens added 12 for the Wildcats, who are now 1-5 and will visit Moorefield on Friday evening.
