ELKINS — The Elkins Middle School basketball teams posted wins over Robert L. Bland Thursday evening at EMS gymnasium in Mid-Mountain 10 Conference action.

The Hornets cruised to an 81-16 win in the varsity game as Eli Bennett scored 13, Jacob Chenoweth 12 and Cooper Markley nine.

Zeke Brown led the Patriots with seven points.

Samuel Belan had 17 points, Elliott Graham 11 and Jay Watson four to lead EMS to a 46-32 win in the junior varsity game.

Ben Fisher had 11 and Kolson Stover nine for RLB.

Elkins is scheduled to entertain Mannington this afternoon.
