Kimble nets 25 as Wildcats top Pocahontas

DUNMORE — Josiah Kimble scored 14 of his game-high 25 points in the second quarter as Pocahontas County cruised to a 92-55 win over regional foe Pocahontas County on Monday night.

The Wildcats held a 16-12 advantage after one quarter before erupting for 31 points in the second frame to build a 47-27 halftime lead.

Chase Owens added 19 points and Dalton Rohrbaugh 14 for Pendleton County.

The Warriors were led by Dillon Dunz’s 20 points. Ben Workman also reached double figures with 11.

The Wildcats (4-5) venture to Class A, top-ranked Tucker County at 7:30 p.m. today.

Pocahontas County (1-4) was slated to visit Tygarts Valley on Tuesday evening.
