Restaurant donates to DHS Foundation

ELKINS -- Leaders at Vintage Restaurant and Wine Bar in Elkins recently hosted a fundraiser and made a donation to the Davis Health System Foundation.

The restaurant's fourth annual breast cancer awareness fundraiser generated $601, which was donated recently to Davis Health System Foundation.

"It's been a great pleasure for us to be able to help raise money for such a great cause," said Kathy Canfield, Vintage front of house manager. "We hope in the years to come to continue to help our local cancer center."

The fundraiser, which lasted during the entire month of October, included selling Mountain State Forest Festival chairs, a 50/50 drawing, drink and menu specials, cash donations and merchandise sales.

"Vintage is dedicated to giving back to this great community in many ways," said Vintage Restaurant and Wine Bar owner Scotty Marshall. "Everyone is touched by cancer in one way or the other, so we feel strongly that this is an area that needs much support
