ELKINS — The Elkins High School Class of 1959 met Friday, Sept. 7, at Smoke on the Water to celebrate their 65th reunion. A delicious dinner was enjoyed by 25 with an evening of “Remember When.” Saturday’s event was held at the Elks Club, which was beautifully decorated for the occasion. Dinner was catered by “Puttin on the Ritz,” a delightful group from Pocahontas County. The invocation was delivered by Burton Hare, who after high school graduated from the Minnesota Ministerial College. The annual 2024 Clem Reunion was held on July 13, at the Lewis County Park in Weston. There were 50 individuals in attendance. Randy Bonnell led in prayer before the meal. Mark Kiser, president, led the business meeting. Gifts were won by ticket drawings.
