Randolph County Girls State attendees thank sponsors

ELKINS — The young women who were privileged to experience Rhododendron Girls State are very grateful for their sponsors because without their support, it would not have been possible for them to attend Girls State.
Presley Bates from Coalton was sponsored by Randolph County Retired School Personnel. Bates’ future plans include attending college to earn a degree in biology and further her education to become a physicians assistant.
Gabryele Bedford from Montrose was sponsored by Davis Trust Company. Bedford’s future plans include attending college and majoring in architecture and minoring in interior design.
Shelby Broseker from Elkins was sponsored by the American Legion Auxiliary of Elkins, WV Unit 29. Broseker’s future plans include attending college to study pre-law and further her education by attending law school.
Summer Channell from Beverly was sponsored by Mike Ross. Channell’s future plans include attending WVU and enrolling in the dental program to become an orthodontist.
Hannah Collins from Elkins was sponsored by Citizens Bank. Collins’ future plans include attending college and earning a degree in criminal justice.
