Uphsur grand jury hands down indictments
BUCKHANNON — The Upshur County Grand Jury handed down indictments against 34 individuals on Monday.
Indictments include:
• Denise Genevive Posey, 29, of Buckhannon, was indicted on one felony county of embezzlement.
• Jacob Wayne Hill, 20, of Buckhannon, was indicted on one felony count of possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, with the intent to deliver.
• Joseph Patrick McHale, 33, of Buckhannon, was indicted on five felony counts of fraudulent use of an access device.
• Robby Russell Wright, 29, of Weston, was indicted on one felony count of possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, with the intent to deliver.
• Christopher Frank Nelson, 36, of Buckhannon, was indicted on one felony count of possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, with the intent to deliver.
• Jack Anthony Bennington, 29, of Rock Cave, was indicted on one count of fleeing in a vehicle with reckless indifference to the safety of others.
• Hobart Joshua Brown, 40, of Rock Cave, was indicted on one felony county of driving under the influence of alcohol, third offense.
• Colton Lee Foster, 25, of Buckhannon, was indicted on two counts of fleeing on foot, a misdemeanor; one felony count of fleeing in a vehicle with reckless indifference to the safety of others; two misdemeanor counts of possession of a controlled substance.
• William David Brown, 44, of Buckhannon, was indicted on one felony count of fraudulent scheme; and three felony counts of embezzlement.
• Dewey Wade Tiffner, 32, of Ellamore, was indicted on one felony county of grand larceny and one count of possession of a stolen or unlawfully taken vehicle.
• Bobby Lyn Todd, 26, of Philippi, was indicted on one felony county of displaying obscene matter to a minor.
• Michael Anthony Cryster, 33, of Buckhannon, was indicted on one felony county of conspiracy to commit a drug felony; and one felony count of possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, with the intent to deliver.
• Bobbie Jane Miller, 40, of Buckhannon, was indicted on one felony county of conspiracy to commit a drug felony; and one felony count of possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, with the intent to deliver.
• Anthony Coleman Bryant, 22, of Buckhannon, was indicted on one felony of count of possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, with the intent to deliver.
• Joseph Ryan Lane, 29, of Rock Cave, was indicted on one felony county of third offense driving while license revoked for DUI.
• Chad Brett Hayes, 28, of Buckhannon, was indicted on three counts of delivery of a controlled substance, buprenorphine.
• Lucas Ryan Unger, 26, Buckhannon, was indicted on two felony counts of deliver of a controlled substance, marijuana.
• Wesley Adam Mayes, 30, Buckhannon, was indicted on three felony counts of delivery of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, within 1,000 feet of a school.
• Candy Lorraine Suttle, 38 of French Creek, was indicted on one felony county of delivery of a controlled substance, methamphetamine; and one felony count of delivery of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, within 1,000 feet of a school.
• Keshawn Battle-Patterson, 19, of Hampton, Virginia, was indicted on one felony county of delivery of a controlled substance, marijuana, for remuneration within a 1,000 feet of a school; and one felony county of possession of a controlled substance, marijuana, with intent to deliver.
• Trey Donovan Lee, 22, of Waldorf, Maryland, was indicted on one count of possession of a controlled substance, marijuana, with intent to deliver for remuneration.
• John Junior Shipman II, 39, of Buckhannon, was indicted on one felony county of deliver of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, within 1,000 feet of a school; and one felony county of possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, with the intent to deliver within a 1,000 feet of a school.
• Gary William Moran II, 39, of Buckhannon, was indicted on one felony count of conspiracy to possess controlled substances, oxycodone, heroin and methamphetamine, with the intent to deliver; and three felony counts of possession for a controlled substance oxycodone, heroin and methamphetamine, with the intent to deliver.
• Johnna Dee Courtney, 37, of Buckhannon, was indicted on one felony count of conspiracy to possess controlled substances, oxycodone, heroin and methamphetamine, with the intent to deliver; and four felony counts of possession for a controlled substance oxycodone, heroin and methamphetamine, with the intent to deliver,
• Timothy Strickland, 39, of Buckhannon, was indicted on one felony count of delivery of a controlled substance, methamphetamine; and one felony county of delivery of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, within 1,000 feet of a school.
• Joshua David Casada, 34, of Buckhannon, was indicted one felony count of conspiracy; one felony county of possession with the intent to deliver, methamphetamine; and one felony count of conspiracy to possess with the intent to deliver, methamphetamine.
• Levi Douglas Reed, 22, Tallmansville, was indicted on one count of possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine with the intent to deliver; and one misdemeanor count of possession of a controlled substance.
• Joshua James Endicott, 36, of Buckhannon, was indicted on four felony counts of failure to provide notice of sex offender registry information changes, life registrant.
• Bo Dwain Beckner, 39, of Buckhannon, was indited on one felony county of driving while license revoked for DUI, third offense; one misdemeanor count of leaving the scene of a crash involving damage to a vehicle.
• Keythan Elias Heater, 26, of Buckhannon, was indicted on one county of fraudulent schemes; and four felony counts of worthless checks.
• Zachary James Spacht, 33, of Morgantown, was indited on one felony count of driving while license suspended for DUI, third offense.
• Dustin Wayne Landis, 27, of Volga, was indicted on one felony count of delivery of a controlled substance, methamphetamine.
• Thomas Morgan Lowe, 25, of Ireland, was indicted on one felony county of delivery of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, within 1,000 feet of a school.
• Joshua Cutright, 30, of French Creek, was indicted on one felony county of delivery of a controlled substance, methamphetamine.
An indictment is merely an accusation. All defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
