Chrome Dragons Riding Club of Elkins spent the afternoon with the Veterans at the West Virginia Veterans Nursing Facility on Saturday with a Father’s Day cookout that included cheeseburgers, hotdogs, baked beans, coleslaw, chips, cookies and soft drinks, all of which was made possible with the help of several local sponsors. The club sends thanks to Young & Stout, Wendling’s Food Service, Coca-Cola, Pepsi, Grafton City Hospital, Giovanni’s of Weston, Buckhannon Wal-Mart, Elkins Dairy Queen, Richard and Anita Snyder, and a special thanks to Bruce and Stephanie Markley for food preparations.
