Randolph County grand jury indicts 37

ELKINS — A total of 37 individuals were indicted by a Randolph County grand jury meeting Monday.

The grand jury will reconvene today to consider further cases.

Monday’s indictments include charges such as intent to deliver a controlled substance, malicious assault and wanton endangerment with a firearm.

The indictments include:

• Charity Nicole Daniels, 33, an inmate at Tygart Valley Regional Jail, on one count of grand larceny and one count of possession of a stolen vehicle, both felonies.

• James Clay Arbogast, 50. an inmate at Pruntytown Correctional Center, on one count of strangulation and one count of wanton endangerment involving a firearm, both felonies, and one count of domestic battery, a misdemeanor.

• Philip Scott Jellison, 37, of Elkins, one count of possession of material depicting a minor engaged in sexually explicit conduct, a felony.

• William Michael Johns, 42, of Elkins, on one count of grand larceny and one count of conspiracy, both felonies.

• Brian Keith Vance, 45, of Beverly, on one count of grand larceny and one count of conspiracy, both felonies.

• Franklin James Biggs, 56, of Monterville, on one count of driving while license revoked for DUI – third offense, a felony.

In a separate and unrelated indictment, Biggs was named on one count of driving while license revoked for DUI – third offense, and one count of burglary, both felonies.

• Timothy Paul Satterfield, 48, an inmate at Tygart Valley Regional Jail, was indicted on one count of driving while license revoked for DUI, third offense, a felony, one count of improper registration, a misdemeanor, and one count of no insurance, a misdemeanor.

In a separate and unrelated indictment, Satterfield was indicted on one count of driving while license revoked for DUI, third offense, a felony, one count of improper registration, a misdemeanor, and one count of no insurance, a misdemeanor.

In a separate and unrelated indictment, Satterfield was named on two counts of breaking and entering and one count of grand larceny, all felonies, and two counts of destruction of property, a misdemeanor.

In a separate and unrelated indictment, William Michael Johns, 42, of Elkins, was named on one count of receiving stolen goods and two counts of possession of a stolen vehicle, all felonies.

• Niketa Elaine Lanham, 34, an inmate at Lawn Correctional Center, was indicted on one count of malicious assault and one count of offense committed by an inmate, both felonies.

• Randall Gail Wood, 58, of Valley Head, on one count of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and one count of carrying a concealed firearm by a person prohibited from possessing a firearm, both felonies.

• Lloyd Truman Bennett, 23, an inmate at Tygart Valley Regional Jail, on one count of fleeing in a vehicle with reckless indifference, a felony, one count of fleeing from an officer by any means other than the use of a vehicle, a misdemeanor, one count of reckless driving, a misdemeanor, and one count of driving while license suspended, a misdemeanor.

• Shawn Anthoney Gill, 39, an inmate at Tygart Valley Regional Jail, on one count of fleeing in a vehicle with reckless indifference and one count of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, both felonies, and one count of fleeing from an officer by any means other than the use of a vehicle, a misdemeanor, one count of reckless driving, a misdemeanor, and one count of driving while license suspended, a misdemeanor.

• Alan Wayne White, 38, an inmate at Tygart Valley Regional Jail, on 11 counts of possession by prohibited person of a firearm and one count of conspiracy, both felonies.

• Tina Rene Monroe, 45, an inmate at Tygart Valley Regional Jail, on one count of conspiracy, a felony.

• William Fravel, 49, of Thomas, one count of driving while license revoked for DUI, third offense, a felony.

• Zachary Joseph Walter-Hoefs, 22, of Coalton, on one count of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, a felony, and one count of wearing a mask, hood, device or face covering, a misdemeanor.

• Michael Anthony Hatfield, 41, of Elkins, on one count of transportation of dangerous substances onto the grounds of a correctional facility and one count of possession of a controlled substance by an inmate, both felonies.

• Kyle Jordan Howard, 43, an inmate at Potomac Highlands Regional Jail, was indicted on one count of offense committed by inmate, one count of destruction of building by rioters, one count of destruction of property, and one count of conspiracy by inmates, all felonies.

• Joseph Edward Harrison, 27, an inmate at Tygart Valley Regional Jail, on one count of offense committed by inmate, one count of destruction of building by rioters, one count of destruction of property, and one count of conspiracy by inmates, all felonies.

• Joshua Michael Taylor, 37, an inmate at Huttonsville Correctional Center, on one count of offense committed by inmate, one count of destruction of building by rioters, one count of destruction of property, and one count of conspiracy by inmates, all felonies.

• Richard Scott Connally, 30, of Montrose, on one count of offense committed by inmate, one count of destruction of building by rioters, one count of destruction of property, and one count of conspiracy by inmates, all felonies.

• Charles Lee Wolfe, 36, an inmate at Martinsburg Correctional Facility, on one count of offense committed by inmate, one count of destruction of building by rioters, one count of destruction of property, and one count of conspiracy by inmates, all felonies.

• Samantha Jo Shearin, 32, an inmate at Tygart Valley Regional Jail, on two counts of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, a felony, and one count of obstructing an officer, a misdemeanor.

• Christopher Todd McMorrow, 34, of Elkins, was indicted on one count of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, a felony, and one count of possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor.

• John Robert Gump, 36, an inmate at Tygart Valley Regional Jail, on one count of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, one count of conspiracy, one count of carrying a concealed firearm by a person prohibited from possessing a firearm, all felonies, and one count of possession of a controlled substance and two counts of obstructing an officer, both misdemeanors.

• Rae Varney, 30, an inmate at Tygart Valley Regional Jail, was indicted on one count of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and one count of conspiracy, all felonies, and one count of possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor.

• Cody Ray Robinson, 26, an inmate at Pruntytown Correctional Center, on one count of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and one count of conspiracy, all felonies.

• Kimberly Marie Swecker, 22, an inmate at Tygart Valley Regional Jail, on one count of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and one count of conspiracy, all felonies.

• Dustin Gene Louk, 29, of Mill Creek, on one count of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and one count of conspiracy, all felonies.

• Shayne Jeffrey Gassnola, 30, of Elkins, on one count of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and one count of conspiracy, all felonies.

• Jeremy David Harris, 30, an inmate at Tygart Valley Regional Jail, on one count of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and one count of conspiracy, all felonies.

• Teresa Gail Raines, 48, an inmate at Tygart Valley Regional Jail, on one count of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and one count of conspiracy, all felonies.

In a separate and unrelated indictment, Shawn Anthoney Gill, 39, an inmate at Tygart Valley Regional Jail, on one count of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and one count of conspiracy, all felonies.

• Mariann Faith Henry, 38, an inmate at Tygart Valley Regional Jail, on one count of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and one count of conspiracy, all felonies.

• Molly Ann Lipscomb, 25, of Elkins, on three counts of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and one count of conspiracy, all felonies.

• Jonathon Bradley Goss, 30, of Beverly, on one count of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and one count of conspiracy, all felonies.

• Nicholas Janes Currence, 27, of Mill Creek, on one count of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, a felony, three counts of possession by a prohibited person of a firearm, a misdemeanor, and one count of driving while license suspended, a misdemeanor.

• Jason William Hebb, 37, an inmate at Tygart Valley Regional Jail, on one count of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, a felony, and one count of possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor.

Bond return for the indictments returned by the June 2019 term of the Randolph County Grand Jury will be at 9 a.m. Friday, at which time bond will be set and trial dates will be determined.

The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
