RANDOLPH COUNTY -- The West Virginia State Police are investigating an alleged shooting incident that occurred in Adolph Sunday evening.
A representative for the Elkins detachment of the West Virginia State Police said Monday that the situation was under investigation, but added that no details or other information were being released at that time.
Police scanner traffic on Sunday evening indicated that one person was shot in the alleged incident, and that police were searching both the Adolph and Coalton areas for him.
