Icie Ellen Strawderman Meadows, 80, passed from this life Monday, April 10, 2017, at Elkins Rehabilitation and Care Center in Elkins.
Icie was born Saturday, March 20, 1937, in Hambleton, a daughter of the late Orval Strawderman and Dorlena R. Moore Strawderman.
Left to cherish her memory are three children, Vicky Kelley, Fields Meadows and wife, Nicole, and Joseph Meadows and companion, Rhonda Pritt, all of Elkins; six grandchildren, Angie Vanpelt of Elkins, Mason Meade of Tennessee, Jeremy Meadows of Wisconsin, Keisha and Joshua Meadows of Pennsylvania, and Paige Meadows of Elkins; and two great-grandchildren, Ashton Clemens and Ethan Meade.
Preceding Icie in death were three children, Rita Breaux, Cora White and Brady Meadows.
Icie attended the schools of Tucker County and had been employed as an inspector at Elkins Industries for nearly 30 years. She loved to cook and attend various churches.
Visitation will be held at the Randolph Funeral Home Friday, April 14, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., the funeral hour. Pastor Stella Moyer will officiate, and interment will follow in Chenoweth Cemetery on Elliot's Ridge Road in Elkins.
