Barbour County ready to head into the new year

Happy New Year from Barbour County! I trust that you all had a good Christmas.

School in Barbour County will resume on Wednesday.

There’s a new kid in town in Philippi.

Molly’s Ice Cream has opened on Main Street, across from the court house. They feature Hershey’s hand dipped ice cream.

I haven’t had a chance to stop in yet, but I am certainly looking forward to going there! Stop in and have a sweet treat.

Looking ahead, the Barbour County Winter Fair will take place March 8 and 9 at the Belington Fire Department.

Craft tables are $15 per space and can be reserved by calling (304) 669-6833.

I don’t have a lot of news to share this time.

If you have any Barbour County news that you would like to see in The Inter-Mountain, give me a call at (304) 614-7782.

You can also send me an email to sharris@theintermountain.com. I love hearing from you!
