AB spikers drop road match

BEAVER FALLS, Pa. -- The Alderson Broaddus men's volleyball team fell to Geneva College 3-0 on Wednesday night.

The Battlers went up 10-9 in the first set, followed by a kill by Cameron Snaden and an attack error by Geneva. The Golden Tornadoes started to string together points and took the first set 25-20.

Geneva would hold on to win the second set, 25-17, and the third set saw AB able to tie the score at 22-22 following a Snaden kill and Geneva attack error. The hosts were able to win the next three points and come away with the victory.

Snaden led AB with nine kills as well as nine digs. Rafael Ortiz finished with four kills and six digs, while Chase Christiansen added three digs and two kills.

Moses Kresch led the Battlers with 10 assists as well as adding five digs.
