George named to squad

TV junior lands spot on Mason Dixon first unit

PINE GROVE -- Tygarts Valley's Logan George has been selected to the all-Mason Dixon Conference boys basketball first team.

George, a 6-foot-2 junior forward, is joined on the first team by Clay-Battelle's Seth Casino and Levi Carrico, South Harrison's Caleb Jenkins and Brent Barnette, Trinity's Joel Robertson, Briston Bennett and Daniel Woods, Hundred's Travis McCoy, Paden City's Matt Saxon, Cameron's Travis Mickey and Noah Neely and Notre Dame's Gabe Zummo and Jaidyn West.

Second-team selections included Clay-Battelle's Coalton Barr, South Harrison's Nick Fenstermacher, Trinity's Logo Zervos and Josh Hart, Hundred's Cody Soles, Paden City's Trey Slider, Valley Wetzel's Levi Anderson, Notre Dame's Joel Maurer and Cameron's Dillon Meintel and Aidan Lucey.

The honorable mention list included Hundred's Logan Norris, South Harrison's Thomas Sears, Paden City's Anthony Newman, Valley Wetzel's Ryan Baker, Clay-Battelle's Chase Ammons and Cameron's Zane Clutter and Garrett Scott.

The co-Players of the Year were Jenkins and Robertson and the Coach of the Year was Cameron's Tom Hart.
