Ronald Martin Miller Sr. affectionately known as “Dude” went to be with the Lord on Oct. 4, 2025. He was surrounded by his loved ones, just as he preferred to be in life. The family will receive friends at the Lohr & Barb Funeral Home on Thursday from 4 to 6 p.m. Final rites will be conducted at the funeral home on Friday Oct. 10, 2025 at 11 a.m. The Reverend Justin Jones will officiate and interment will follow at the Parsons City Cemetery at Parsons, West Virginia. Betty Jean Rigsby McClure, 93, a resident of Elkins, West Virginia, departed this life early Sunday morning, Oct. 5, 2025, at her home, surrounded by her loving family and under the care of West Virginia Caring. Janet Dayle Lytle, 81, a resident of Elkins, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 1, 2025, at the Elkins Rehabilitation and Care Center in Elkins. She was born, Jan. 11, 1944, in Elkins, a daughter of the late Bruce H. White and the late Dorothy Kerr White. On March 10, 1965, she was married to George E. Lytle, who preceded her in death Oct. 11, 1988. Surviving is one daughter, Carlene Lytle of Elkins; and one half-sister, Margaret Petrice Sumpter of San Antonio, Texas.
