Richard S. Harman, born Aug. 19, 1942, in Harman, West Virginia, died July 3, 2025, in Virginia Beach, the city he loved and called home for more than 40 years. He was in declining health. He received his bachelor’s degree from Bridgewater College in Virginia, and his Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Harvard Law School. He was a lawyer in Norfolk, Virginia. C. Morgan Haymond, 68, a resident of Elkins, passed away Thursday, July 17, 2025, in the Intensive Care Unit at the United Hospital Center at Bridgeport, West Virginia, following a brief illness.
