He was born Oct. 27, 1994, at Elkins, a son of Kathryn Lorretta Sponaugle of Elkins and the late Danny Joe Sponaugle. Also surviving is his maternal grandmother, Carolyn Shaffer of Elkins; two brothers, David Joe Sponaugle of Elkins and Greg O’Neal Sponaugle of Florida; and one sister, Kimberly Hempel of Elkins. Barbara (Bobbie) Blackhurst Shaw, 88, of Marlinton, passed away on June 23, 2024, in Mon General Hospital, Morgantown, West Virginia.
