Loring Lawson Hines Jr., 90, mostly known as Junior, passed away peacefully on the morning of Dec. 27, 2023, at the Winchester Medical Center in Winchester, Virginia. Born on June 11, 1933, in Moorefield, West Virginia, Junior was the cherished son of Loring Lawson Hines Sr. and Ruth Esther Funkhouser Hines. Junior was a proud graduate of Moorefield High School, class of 1951, and went on to pursue higher education at Potomac State College, where he graduated in 1953.
