Richard “Dick” Collett, 85, of Palm Harbor, Florida, formally of Elkins, departed this life Dec. 12, 2023. He had been declining health. He is survived by his wife, Judith Wolfe, of Clarksburg; three adult children; and several grandchildren. Dick is also survived by his sister, Patty Simmons and husband, Vic. He was a graduate of Elkins High School with the class of 1956. His request for cremation was honored.

Paul William “Coon” Sponaugle, 86, a resident of Parsons, West Virginia, departed this life early Monday morning, Dec. 25, 2023, at Mountain Memories Assisted Living at Elkins, West Virginia, surrounded by his loving family and under the care of WV Caring.
