BRIDGEPORT — Buckhannon-Upshur dropped a pair of games in the McDonald’s Classic on Friday. The Bucs fell to Cabell Midland, 8-0, as Owen Maynard allowed just four hits over six innings, striking out 13 and walking one. Mountaineers add third LB commitment for 2027 class

MORGANTOWN — West Virginia and defensive coordinator Zac Alley are loading up on linebackers for the 2027 class. The Mountaineers received a commitment from consensus 3-star linebacker Rick Brown, he announced on his social media. Brown is the third linebacker for WVU’s 2027 class.
