MORGANTOWN — West Virginia baseball managed to take two of three games against Houston after falling in the first game of the series again. The Cougars are the worst team in the Big 12, but even taking two games, it shot the Mountaineers up three spots in this week's Division 1 Baseball rankings to No. 12. TENNERTON — Charity Talbott struck out 10 in a complete-game effort as Buckhannon-Upshur blanked Elkins, 9-0, on Saturday. Talbott allowed just four hits and walked two. She also helped her cause with a two-run single as part of a five-run sixth inning. Talbott was 2 for 3 on the day with three RBIs.
