Highland Adventist School offers weekend family retreat

HUTTONSVILLE – Highland Adventist School students and their families recently enjoyed a weekend family retreat at Valley Vista Adventist Center in Huttonsville.
Highland Adventist School was joined by two other schools from the Mountain View School district for fun, relaxation, and great food.
The three days of activities included a caving trip, mountain biking, team building exercises and more.
“It was wonderful to be able to have casual time with our school family. We were able to catch up on the news from summer and get acquainted with our newcomers,” said Cheryl Jacko, principal.
“We were proud of our students who helped lead activities for other students. We especially enjoyed the character-building vespers programs by the lake with Pastor Stephen Gamallo from Summersville.”
