Jim and Sharon Pingley of Snowshoe celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary Oct. 5.

Mr. Pingley is the son of the late Dorsey and Viola Pingley

Mrs. Pingley is the daughter of the late Freda Loane.

Together the couple have six children, 15 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, Brenda Gregory and husband, Kyle, of Marietta, Ohio, and their children, Kelly and Lisa; Eddie Hamrick of Marietta, Ohio, and his children, Braydon, Kaylee, Keith and Christopher; Todd Pingley and wife, Natasha of Elkins and their children, Cody and Chase; Kim Hamrick and husband, Randy, of Elkins and their children, Austin and Dalton; James Pingley and wife, Carla, of Milton and their children, Brandie, Jamie and Brandon; and Joe Pingley and wife, Gretchen, of Milton and their children, Savannah and Selina.

The Pingleys reside at Snowshoe.
