Frank and Joan ‘Bobbie’ Thompson

Frank and Joan “Bobbie” Thompson celebrated their 65th Wedding Anniversary on June 6.

The couple were wed on June 6, 1959, in Elkins by the Rev. Kenneth Adams. They reside in Mechanicsville, Maryland. They have one daughter, Anita.

Mrs. Thompson, the former Joan Bosworth, is the daughter of the late John “Bud” and Virginia Bosworth of Chenoweth Creek.

Mr. Thompson is the son of the late Dillon and Hettie Thompson of Sully.

Frank and Bobbie enjoy attending church, family gatherings, eating out and bluegrass music get-togethers with friends.
