Rachel Reed

Rachel Reed, of Whitmer, will turn 80 years old on Nov. 11.

Rachel was born in Elkins on Nov. 11, 1941, to the late Ernest and Evelyn (White) Kirkpatrick. She is married to Robert H. Reed. Rachel has two daughters, Robin Coberly and husband, Donnie, and Roxanna Cooper and husband, Terry.

She also has four grandchildren, Shasta, Robert, Moriah and Makenzie; and nine great-grandchildren, Bailey, Connor, Victor, Heather, Isaac, Jace, Kaitlyn, Cooper and Silas.

Rachel graduated from Patterson Park High School in 1959 in Baltimore, Maryland. Up until retirement she held positions in the clerical/secretarial positions in the medical field. She enjoys reading, watching Halmark movies, spending time with family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and spending time with and helping her only surviving brother, Richard.
