Hello from Barbour County!
Are you staying warm enough?
I suppose the highlight of everyone’s conversations lately has been the cold temperatures.
Belington Bakery will be having its one-year anniversary party on Jan. 25 from 6-8 p.m. Come out and celebrate with them and enjoy poetry, music and storytelling. This is a free event.
Kylie Proudfoot-Payne will be having an “Intro to Drawing” workshop at the Belington Golden Rule on Jan. 26 from 1-2:30 p.m. There is a cost for the workshop. All ages are welcome (age 10 and under with an adult).
Barbour County family support center will be having activity night on Jan. 28 from 4-5:30 p.m. Join them for hot cocoa, ornaments and crafts.
17 North Event Center will be hosting an electric guitar jam on Jan. 31 from 7-10 p.m. Come out and enjoy some music.There will be a donation taken at the door.
The Belington city election will take place on March 4.
Looking ahead, Battler’s Knob is hosting another ladies night out on March 13. Doors will open at 6 p.m., with dinner at 7 p.m. There is a cost for tickets, which includes dinner, prizes and a lot of fun. For more information, contact Cheri at 304-613-7180, or Cierra at 304-621-3776.
