Chilly Happy New Year from Barbour County

Happy New Year from Barbour County.

Did you make any resolutions? I usually don’t, but this year, I’m going to do better at getting the news in more timely. With the holidays and vacations, I have some work to do, so this year, I resolve to be better at the Barbour County news.

Did you stay up and see the new year in? Maybe you watched the ball drop in Times Square, or just maybe you watched it drop in Philippi? That’s right, Barbour County had their own ball drop this year in downtown Philippi. Maybe this will become a tradition.

17 North Event Center will be hosting bingo/trivia/square dancing fun this month. Trivia will be on Jan. 16. Doors open at 6:30, with the trivia starting at 7.
