Lindsey Danielle Surguy and Jacob Lee Shifflett

Lindsey Danielle Surguy of Parsons and Jacob Lee Shifflett of Elkins announce their engagement and forthcoming wedding.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Paula Stevens of Elkins, Gregory Stevens of Parsons and Edward and Shirley Surguy of Kerens, and the granddaughter of Charles and Paula Phillips of Hendricks, Gary and Ruth Benner of Hagerstown, Maryland, the late Edward Surguy, the late William and Wanda Vance and the late Eugene Stevens. She is a graduate of Tucker County High School.

Her fiance is the son of Gary and Sandra Shifflett of Elkins, and the grandson of the late Clarence Shifflett and Mildred “Sue” Cosner Shifflett and stepgrandmother, the late Margaret Shreve Shifflett, and Hilbert and Irene Dolly of Elkins. He is a graduate of Elkins High School.

The wedding is planned for June 16 at Kerens.
