Arthur and Patty Sayre of Buckhannon announce the engagement of their daughter, Kristen Marie Sayre, to Matthew David Hewitt, son of Dave and Pam Hewitt of Elkins.
The bride-elect is a 2008 graduate of Buckhannon-Upshur High School, a 2012 graduate of West Virginia Wesleyan College with a degree in chemistry, and a 2016 graduate of West Virginia University School of Pharmacy receiving a Doctorate in Pharmacy.
Her fiance is a 2012 graduate of Elkins High School and a 2016 graduate of Davis & Elkins College with a degree in sport management and a minor in business.
