The descendants of Charles and Charlotte Righman Auvil gathered at the New Beginnings Church on Sept. 11 to celebrate the 22nd Auvil Reunion.

Family and friends provided a variety of delicious food for the meal, and the family offers special thanks to everyone who brought food and those who helped putting everything together.

A dinner blessing was prayed by Roger Auvil. Because of COVID, the Auvil family reunion could not held for two years. Everyone enjoyed the fellowship with family and friends.

Those present and recognized were Gerald Cline, oldest man; Dianna Cline, oldest woman; Matt and Judy Edge, most recently married; traveling the farthest, Donald and Susan Knotts, Hamilton; John and Carol Edge, couple married the longest; and Donald and Susan Knotts had the most grandchildren. Door prizes were presented to several family members and friends.

The Auvil Reunion is held the second Sunday in September. The 23rd Auvil Reunion will be held at the New Beginnings Church on Sept. 10, 2023. Any comments, changes and/or suggestions to improve the reunion are welcome.
