ERCC earns national recognition

ELKINS — A national healthcare organization has recognized Elkins Rehabilitation & Care Center for quality care and the organization has invited some of ERCC’s team members to its national conference to accept the award.

The American Health Care Association/National Center for Assisted Living’s Quality Initiative Recognition Program has awarded ERCC its Certificate of Achievement, according to Tara Shaver, ERCC administrator. ERCC received the certificate because its staff members are committed to providing quality healthcare to residents, Shaver said.

“This is a testament to our staff’s dedication and work,” Shaver added. “The members of ERCC’s staff work very hard every day to provide the best possible care to our residents.”

The certificate is awarded to organizations that improve the lives of the people they serve, said Dr. David Gifford, senior vice president of quality and regulatory affairs for the AHCA/NCAL, in a letter to ERCC.

“The AHCA/NCAL commends you and your staff’s proven commitment to quality,” Gifford said in the letter.

“We know our employees are the absolutely best,” Shaver noted. “But it is very gratifying when they receive recognition from a national organization dedicated to improving quality care.”

The AHCA/NCAL has invited ERCC to attend its annual summit in Texas spring.
