‘Light the Nite Pink’ drive-thru event set
BELINGTON — With October being Breast Cancer Awareness month, Barbour Community Health Association will be hosting a “Let Hope Light the Way/Light the Nite Pink” drive-thru event to educate women within the community on the disease.
Breast Cancer Awareness Night will be held from 7-8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 20 at Belington Medical Clinic located on 70 N Sturmer Street.
Due to the rise in COVID-19 cases in the area, the event will not be held inside the clinic, but rather from attendee’s vehicles, in the Light the Nite Pink drive-thru.
Attending women will have the opportunity to meet and greet with Jennifer Duvall, PA-C, the clinic’s newest women’s health provider, as well as other staff members. Educational materials will be available and the first 100 attendees will leave with a take-home gift. Attendees will also have a chance to win several door prizes and special gifts will be presented to breast cancer survivors.
Flu shots will also be available. Insurance cards will be needed. Contact Belington Medical Clinic for more information at 304-823-2800.
