REVIVAL: The Blue Rock Church will be hosting a revival through Sunday. Services will begin at 7 p.m. and feature special preaching and singing each day. Everyone is welcome.

BREAKFAST: VFW Post 5781 and Auxiliary will host a breakfast from 8 a.m. – noon today at the post home in Harman. Buckwheat/buttermilk pancakes, sausage, sausage gravy, fried potatoes, and drinks will be served.

CRAFT SHOW: The Beverly Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary will be hosting a Christmas Craft Show beginning at 9 a.m. today. Refreshments will be available. Fore more information call 304-636-7936.

HOLIDAY CRAFT SHOW: There will be a holiday craft show 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. today at the Coalton Volunteer Fire Department.

HIDDEN SPACES TOUR: Join the Beverly Heritage Center 1 p.m. today to explore more of Beverly's secret, hidden side during the the Hidden Spaces Tour. The tour will show the inside of four different buildings in different states of restoration, including the site of the first amputation of the Civil War; home to the earliest graffiti associated with a Civil War battle; the 1841 Randolph County Jail; and the I.O.O.F. building, a fully completed preservation project. CAKEWALK: at the Talbott Community Building today. The kitchen will open at 5 p.m., with the cakewalk at 7 p.m. Proceeds will benefit the Talbott UM Church.

ALLEGHENY REGIONAL FAMILY HISTORY SOCIETY: will meet at 7 p.m. Nov. 9 at the library of the I.O.O.F. Lodge located on the Beverly Five-lane. Anyone interested in genealogy is encouraged to attend and become a member of ARFHS. Until further notice, the library will be open on Wednesday from 1 to 4 p.m. Other days by appointment. AIRPORT MEETING: The Elkins-Randolph County Regional Airport Authority will hold its regular monthly meeting on Tuesday at 5 p.m. at the airport terminal building.

SALE: There will be Veterans Day Sale in the Tennerton United Methodist Church basement on Thursday, Nov. 11, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. There will be baked goods, hot dogs and trash 'n treasures. Proceeds will be used for projects of the Tennerton UMC Women.

HELPING HAND CLEARINGHOUSE: is collecting names of needy children for the FOP Christmas Party, Randolph County only. Children 12 and under. Must provide proof of income. The deadline is Nov. 10. The hours are Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. at 105 First Street.

HAM & TURKEY DINNER: The Buckhannon-Upshur Christmas Store will be having our annual Ham & Turkey Dinner on Saturday, Nov. 13, at Chapel Hill United Methodist Church, 88 S. Kanawha St., Buckhannon. Serving will begin at noon and go until food runs out. The menu is ham, turkey, mashed potatoes, yams, dressing, corn, green beans, roll, cranberry salad, drink and dessert. Freewill donation will be accepted. At this time, the store is planning for a come in, sit down dinner. If anything changes, the group will still be doing the dinner as take out. All proceeds go to the Buckhannon-Upshur Christmas Store to purchase toys for children at Christmas time. MEAT SHOOT: VFW Post 5781 will host their last meat shoot of the year 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Nov. 20 at the post home in Harman. Refreshments will be available. For information contact Danie Ours at 304-227-4349.

BUCKWHEAT FEED: There will be a buckwheat feed 7 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 20, at the Dry Fork Assembly Fellowship Center at Dray Fork. The all-you-can-eat menu consists of buckwheat cakes, pancakes, sausage, sausage gravy, eggs, juice, milk and coffee. There will also be a bake sale. All proceeds will benefit the Dry Fork Recreation Center.

FREE THANKSGIVING DINNER: There will be a free Thanksgiving dinner on Thursday, Nov. 25, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Parsons Senior Center. Pick-up and delivery only.For more information call Carroll Precht at 304 478-4018.

AL-ANON: Meets at the Davis Memorial Presbyterian Church every Wednesday from 7-8 p.m.
