ERCC recognizes employees

ELKINS — Elkins Rehabilitation & Care Center recently recognized 24 employees and their combined 421 years of exceptional service.

ERCC recognized the employees with their ninth annual Employee Recognition Appreciation Awards. Among those recognized was long-time employee Johnny Bodkin, who has worked as at ERCC for 52 years. The environmental service aide was awarded a $300 bonus, a new lapel pin, a certificate of achievement, and a custom plaque.

“We are beyond blessed to have our dedicated employees,” said Tara Shaver, ERCC administrator. “It is because of them that we are able to provide complete compassionate care each and every day.”

Employees who have worked at ERCC for over 25 years of service received a cash bonus, a plaque, a certificate and a pin. Employees who had reached milestones of five, 10, 15 and 20 years received a cash bonus, a certificate and a pin.

“At ERCC, we understand that it is our one-of-a-kind staff who keeps us running successfully,” Shaver said. “We want our employees to know that their hard work and dedication is extremely appreciated.”

ERCC gave more than10 plaques and nearly $4,000 to employees. The total years at ERCC for all 148 of their current employees is 1,026 years.

“We are a family at ERCC, and we want our employees to know that,” Shaver added.
