ERCC calling for Christmas entertainers
ELKINS — Elkins Rehabilitation & Care Center is again inviting community groups to the facility to spread the Christmas spirit following a two-year hiatus because of COVID.
ERCC is looking for church groups, choirs, youth groups, and any other organization to come visit the facility to brighten up the Christmas season for residents and staff. ERCC encourages all community groups to come to the facility to spread holiday cheer by caroling, decorating, or just visiting with residents.
“Our residents deserve to have a wonderful holiday full of celebration and laughs, and we do everything in our power to make that possible,” said Tara Shaver, ERCC administrator. “Christmas is a magical time, and we like to reflect that at our facility.”
In the past, ERCC has held plays, carolers, parties, craft classes, and much more during the holidays. They like to keep that tradition so the residents and staff can have a fulfilling and memorable holiday.
“Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year, and we do everything we can to reflect that at the facility,” said Donna Jones, Director of Activities at ERCC. “We are all family here, and we celebrate like family would.”
If you would like to plan a visit this Christmas season, call Donna Jones, director of activities, at 304-636-1391 ext. 240.
